Publication Guidelines
Research at ÆVRI stays lightweight and practical. A work needs enough information for an expert to check the findings and decide where they apply. No academic degree, affiliation, DOI or citation style is required.
Core fields
- Title of the work. A specific name.
- Short value summary. Why the work is useful, for whom and for which task. Two to four sentences.
- Key findings and their value. The main findings and what each one is worth. Separate observations from interpretations.
- How the research was done. Approach, sources, sample or conditions, period, metric definitions and main limitations.
- Materials and data. What the work is based on. If data is closed, explain its origin, availability and anonymisation.
Metadata
- Research start and end dates.
- Research category: one of the eight categories.
- Technical domain and tags.
- Author and co-authors. An author can be a person or an organisation.

Links, code, tables, charts and PDF files are welcome where they help. A reader should be able to understand the work on its page without downloading anything.
Review and evaluation
Each submission is reviewed before publication. After publication, readers evaluate the value the work gave them. Review checks quality; reader evaluation measures usefulness. These are separate.
