Call for papers: Value Management Conference 2027 in Munich, deadline 30 October 2026

The 26th VDI value management conference in 2027 joins two communities for the first time: the German-speaking Value Management Conference and the SAVE International Value Summit. It takes place in Munich on 11-12 May 2027. The language is English.

The call for papers closes on 30 October 2026. Topics include the results of value management projects in products, processes and services. They also include use outside industry, such as construction, infrastructure and administration. Other listed themes are cost engineering, sustainability as a value driver, supply chain resilience and the use of AI in value management.

The call treats value as something that can be designed, measured and compared with cost in real projects. Case studies from transport, defence and public works give researchers a chance to test how value rules hold up outside factories. The call also asks how AI changes the practice of finding and delivering value.
