Valuism Conference 2026 in Kyoto: Making Value Visible

The 9th Global Conference on Creating Value runs on 10-12 December 2026 at Doshisha University in Kyoto. Its theme is how to turn multi-stakeholder value into something that can be measured.

The Valuism Conference 2026 is held together with the 9th Global Conference on Creating Value. The Value Research Center at Doshisha University and the Creating Value Alliance host it. The theme is "Making Value Visible".

The programme brings together researchers, business leaders, policymakers and practitioners. It looks at value measurement, intangible and trapped value, and stakeholders who have no voice. It also covers technology for making value visible. It compares Western stakeholder thinking, the Japanese sanpo yoshi tradition and Indigenous value systems.

For readers of value research, the point is simple. Value that is not seen is usually not managed, and it is easily lost or shifted onto others. Making it visible is the first step to measuring it. Early-bird registration runs until 15 October 2026.
