New at ÆVRI: free tools for estimating and mapping value
Every team decides each week what to do first. Most often the choice rests on gut feeling or on effort alone. Our research on value assessment points to a simple step that helps: for every item, estimate what it gives (outgoing value) and what it takes (incoming value), on one scale for the whole list, and then compare.
VET: Value Estimation Tool
Paste a list straight from a spreadsheet or a tracker and place each item on two scales. The priority appears at once. The 2D board shows quick wins, big bets, fill-ins and the items not worth doing. Buckets from LOW to BIG let you estimate fast, without arguing over exact numbers. An item can also carry anti-value, when it takes value away. Export to CSV or JSON.
To see it in seconds, open "Paste a list" and press "Example": a real-life web shop backlog of 14 tasks appears on the board.

VSS: Value System Schema editor
Draw how value moves through a system: converters (teams, services, subsystems), the flows of value and anti-value between them, and what enters and leaves the system. Any flow can be estimated in VET without leaving the diagram, and the result appears on the flow. Export to JSON and PNG.
Free and private
Both tools are free and run in your browser. Your data stays on your device until you export it. Team mode, saving schemas in your ÆVRI account and the personal Value Ledger come next.
